A resident of the Sawmill Subdivision called police to report two cars–one driven by Thompson, the other a woman–pursuing each other near the area of Millstream Road and Cross Cut Court around 8:30 a.m., police said.
The woman crashed her car into a curb and fled on foot. Thompson got out of his vehicle and chased her, police said.
He caught her and compelled her into his car before driving off, police said.
Police apprehended Thompson after a family member was able to reach him on his cellphone and persuaded him to comeback to the scene.
The woman was uninjured except for a bruise on her arm, police said.
