LOUDON (WATE) – Deputies from Knox and Loudon counties were able to arrest three people after a pursue through both counties that ended with a car crash.

Brandon Lee Houck, 20, and Seth Jordan Curtis, 20, are charged with aggravated robbery and evading arrest. Extra charges are pending. Kayla Camille Crass was also taken into custody and charges are pending.

The Knoxville Police Department says the incident began around 9:25 a.m. Wednesday when they were called to an armed robbery at Admiral Wine and Spirits, two thousand eighty one Willow Loop Way. The description of the vehicle, a white Hyundai Elantra with a improvised tag, matched the description fro a February fourteen robbery at Taco Bell on Walbrook Drive. The suspects robbed the business as well as a customer.

Knox County Sheriff’s Office deputies spotted the car fleeing on Northshore Drive. The deputy attempted to stop the car, but the driver, later identified as Curtis, did not stop. Houck bailed out near a convenience store on Choto Road. He was taken into custody.

Curtis and Crass continued to flee until crashing on Martel Road in Loudon County. Curtis ran off but was captured in nearby forest.

Crass was trapped in the car and had to be liberated by very first responders. She was taken to UT Medical Center with non-life menacing injuries. Martel Road was closed while deputies investigated the wreck.
